Breaking Down the Name

• The Moroccan Refinery: The brand or collective responsible for sourcing or manufacturing the hash, utilizing modern laboratory-grade techniques in or inspired by traditional Moroccan processing regions. 

• Frozen Sift (Fresh Frozen Dry Sift / Live Sift): Instead of using traditional sun-dried cannabis plants, the processors freeze the cannabis plant material immediately after harvest. The frozen trichome heads are then mechanically agitated and separated at sub-zero temperatures without water. This preserves an incredibly high volume of volatile terpenes, providing a strong, complex flavor profile. 

• 190/73u (Micron Rating): This specifies the filtration screens used during the mechanical sifting process.
  • • 190u: The upper catch screen. Plant material and larger debris greater than 190 microns are filtered out.
    • 73u: The lower collection screen. The trichome heads pass through the 190u screen but are caught on the 73u mesh. The 73-micron size is globally regarded as the sweet spot for collecting isolated, fully mature, and intact resin heads. 

Product Characteristics

• Appearance & Texture: Unlike traditional dry brick hash, frozen sift often looks like a blonde, sandy powder when kept cold. When brought to room temperature, the pure resin heads naturally “grease out” into an oily, gooey resin paste. 

• Quality Grade: Because it is limited strictly to the 73u–190u spectrum, it restricts plant contaminants. This often results in a highly premium, clean-melting product (frequently refined further using static-charge gloves to achieve 99% pure resin heads).
